I need your opinions

Hi everyone!

Today I was looking at some websites and I was thinking “Wow. It would be so cool to make money as a freelance writer!”. You can set your own schedule, your own limit, and pretty much everything else.

But, seeing as I am only 13, most sites would probably not accept me.

So first off, I just wanted to ask if any of you knew of any freelance, paying sites that accept 13 year olds. That would be awesome.

Next idea.

What if I made my blog have a freelancing section or article submission page for anyone who would like to sunit articles?

It would not be a paying job, and you don’t have to sign up for anything. You would just submit your articles. And you can submit one and be done, or you can do it as often as you like. What do you think (BTW, I have ZERO idea if this will actually happen)?

Final idea (my favorite).

It would likely be a seperate blog, but I was thinking of having a competition based site that has teams and they each compete for the most points by the end of a certain time frame. Sort of like the Howarts houses in Harry Potter, where every good and bad thing you do will either earn or lose points for your house.

We would come up with names for each “house” (sticking with the HP theme) and you would have to do things like write articles, design a cover, make a video, do and record a random act of kindness, etc.

I personally really like this idea, and I think I would need at least four people for each “house”. Please let me know what you think and if you would like to participate in one way or another.

Comment your opinions on these idead and have a wonderful day everyone!

Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentines Day, everyone!

This is one of my favorite days of the year (although not as much this year since it’s on a Tuesday and I have to do schoolwork so… :P) because it’s such a wonderful time and I LOVE love!

Also, you get to eat chocolate and watch romcoms (although not really the romcoms if you’re my age and you can’t watch anything that was rated above 15 years old on Common Sense Media) which is pretty cool.

I am currently single (which is fairly normal for a homeschooled 13 year old) but I have an amazing family and fantastic friends, so it’s not like I’m ALONE. 😛

I actually have a minor cold right now, so that’s not cool, but hey, I’m able to eat chocolate and I’m not sick enough to where I can’t walk.

Anyways, I was curious, what do you guys do on Valentine’s Day? Do you hang out with your BF or GF? Do you spend time with friends? Or do you enjoy curling up in bed with Netflix and literally all of the chocolate that you can stuff in your face? <—- ME

Let me know how you celebrate Valentine’s Day in the comments!

Lots of love!

30 Day, Gallon A Day Water Challenge

Hello everyone!

I first wanted to say that I got NO name suggestions on my last post. RAEGKAFGKDGKADGM.

Lol, it’s okay. But I just wanted to ask you to please check out my last post and suggest some names. Thanks!

Now, onto the important stuff:

Today I started the 30 Day Water Challenge, which is basically where you drink a gallon of water every day for thirty days.

Needless to say, it definitely IS a challenge.

I have a 24 ounce water bottle and I had to fill it up FIVE times to get to 120 ounces (which is 8 ounces less than a gallon, so I’m kind of cheating a little, but…. uh… yeah.

So, I’ve heard it gets easier after a while, but it is a struggle at first. You kind of start hating the taste of water just because it’s so bland, and if you’re like me, your stomach wants to do that thing where the water jiggles around in your stomach. I ate a lot less dinner tonight, which is actually a good thing, because I snack a lot.

Let me just list the pros and cons to this challenge:

PROS –

It’s supposed to keep you energized all day

It’s supposed to help you wake up easier and happier

It helps to flush out toxins

It helps you lose weight

It helps you be sure of when you are REALLY hungry and not just bored

It’s supposed to help clear up your acne and give you more glowy skin

It might stimulate hair and nail growth.

CONS –

It can be really filling, which makes it hard to continue

You have to pee a LOT

If you do not have a gallon or half gallon bottle, you have to refill a LOT

The pros DEFINITELY outweigh the cons. Although, there were at least three times today where I had to pee multiple times within 40 minutes of each other, so that was not cool. So, I’ve used the bathrooms countless times, by the last bottle I was starting to hate water, and it was a very slight nuisance to have to refill it, but I usually did it when I was getting up anyways.

I have had no immediate effects, but I will see if I wake up better and stay more energized tomorrow (I don’t know if that is an instant effect) and see how my skin looks.

Have you guys done this challenge or will you attempt to do it? Let me know in the comments below!

Have a WATERful day! (I know, I know. Super cheesy)
