Fashion Trends That Rock or Need to Come Back

Hi guys!

As a preteen, I am getting more and more interested in fashion. About a month ago, I spent the majority of my weekend watching Clevver Style’s Dirty Laundry (Trophy Life) on YouTube. I loved seeing the beautiful (or not so beautiful) celebrity outfits and wishing I could wear it over and over again (minus Miley Cyrus outfits). Anyways, even though I was only born in 2003, I know some old fashion trends, and why not include some new ones too! Here are some old fashion trends that need to make a comeback AND current fashion trends that I love:

Poodle skirts. What else is to be said? How can you not love the adorable long skirts with a poodle on it? Fifties fashion was at it’s best when they made poodle skirts.

Overalls. I used to wear overalls when I was a little girl and they are adorable! You could also go with the popular old “denim-on-denim” look by wearing denim overalls and a jean jacket.

Leg warmers. Why not?

Crimped hair. I would say it’s hard to mess up hair, but let’s not forget mullets….

A Hippie Costume For Kids.jpg

Hippies/flower children. Luckily, this style is coming back and thank goodness! I don’t like hippies ONLY as a fashion trend, but ALSO because they believe in non-violence and color and beautiful, positive things. We need more happy hippies in the world.

Flappers. I would die of happiness if this look came back! I love the beautiful, sparkly dresses, the fancy feather boas and the nice headband. Why did this ever go out of style? Why is it known only as the “20s look”? This would make my LIFE if I could look normal in one of those outfits.

Dresses that are short in the front and long in the back. I love these and I would love to have one with a white top and a blue skirt.

Shrugs. Super cute. When I picture a cute shrug outfit, I picture a black shrug with a pink shirt and a black skirt and a tiny black headband hat (I have one) to top it all off.

Shoes with wheels in them. These are so cool! I want a pair!

Hoodies. Love ’em. Love, love, love ’em. I wish I could wear them more, but I live in Florida so…

Cdil7.jpgLong, hippie skirts (fringe optional). Super cute. I love white ones with a white top and then a cute brown fringe shirt cover. Good for a cute, girly cowboy look.

Bob cuts. EEEEK!!! So cute!

Pixie cut. Also cute, but it takes certain people to pull it off. Ginnifer Goodwin ROCKS the pixie cut.

I love all of these trends, old and new. Please comment down below which trends you like!

MMM to be transferred to Wix?

Hi guys!

I just wanted to let you all know that I may be changing the website that my blog is on. It’s not set in stone but I started setting up a Miss Magic Memoir page on

I like how professional Wix looks and the setup and customization. I may or may not switch over but I can assure you that Miss Magic’s Memoir on WordPress will always stay online.

The only thing I don’t like about Wix is the URL that I get for my blog. I like having my blog’s name first in the URL (it’s currently But Wix makes it so that it’s (example) . Wix is not as good in that sense.

I am not sure if I will switch it. I will probably stick with this one throughout December (I’ve got one or two Christmas themes coming up čśë ) but I just wanted to let you guys know that it was a possibility.

If I had an idea for a different website that I wanted to do I would do THAT on Wix instead of possibly switching MMM over to it. Do you guys have any ideas for other fun websites I could do? I would absolutely LOVE to set up another fun website! :DD

ALSO, I may have another blog in the making that I would be doing with my BFF so stay tuned for updates on that (that one WILL be in WordPress if it comes out).

Thank you guys for being nice and constructive and helpful with my blogging endeavors. I am a first time blogger (well, I have made blogs before when I was younger but I couldn’t keep it up) and you guys are really supportive čÖé Please comment down below what you think about possibly moving MMM or any suggestions you have about anything!

Thanks for reading!

Letters to Random:I love you Birthday Cake!

Hi guys!

I haven’t gotten any more Letters To Random ideas yet (please comment your ideas!! :D), so I came up with one. I shall now write a love letter to birthday cake…

Dearest Birthday Cake,

Where do I begin? When I see you, my heart flutters. I fill with desire. I know what I so deeply desire… You. Birthday Cake, you make me go crazy. After I hang out with you I’m bouncing off the walls! Your bread, so fluffy and sweet. Your frosting, so beautiful and delicious. Your layers, perfection beyond compare. There’s just… something else to consider…. You’re not good for me. But you go great with milk. And I see the way milk looks at you… I bet she’s as in love as I am. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholding Birthday Cake, because you look back at her with the same appreciation as she gives you… And that’s what I so desperately want from you. So until you love me, I will continue to not eat myself up over it, but you. You have given me anger beyond compare. Why don’t you appreciate me? You wouldn’t exist if I didn’t eat you! No one would make birthday cakes if people weren’t going to eat them! Now there’s only one slice of you left, but I won’t eat you. I’ll leave you to harden and rot in the┬árefrigerator, unless you decide to be my love. Until then, I must say, goodbye… my love.

Much love and hope from yours truly, Katie.

I’ve never written anything so soulful in my entire life. Just to be clear, in real life, I only like eating birthday cake. Not writing love letters to it xD To be honest, it was kind of awkward to write, but I hope you guys enjoy it! Comment down below if you liked this letter and PLEASE comment down below if you know what type of letter I should write (angry letter, thank you note, comments on something, etc.) and/or what I should write to (any person/place/thing) next.

Thanks for reading guys!

P.S. I have an odd craving for birthday cake right now….

My Rabbit

Hi guys!

You may have read in my welcome page that I have a pet rabbit. He is a black rabbit named Shadow. I don’t know much about him. He might be about 6 months old, maybe a bit older. I don’t know if he’s a boy or a girl yet, I just call him “he” so I don’t have to switch back and forth. If I knew whether he was a girl or not, I may have named him Luna. But he could be a boy, so I didn’t name him that. Shadow is a gender-neutral name.

Anyways, he did the cutest (maybe not story-worthy, but still fun to talk about) thing today. He has a little box that he plays with, and he tipped it over and the box ate him. It just looked like a box moving around by itself! It was funny.

I saw a picture on Instagram once that said “Dogs have owners, Cats have (I can’t remember what that said), and Bunnies have slaves.” If I had read that before I got a rabbit, I would have laughed and thought it was a joke. If I thought it was a joke, I would be lying to myself. You have to give them new food and water everyday (like any pet, so that’s not that bad), you have to clean out their litter-boxes every 1-2 days (it smells SO gross!), and various other pet stuff. Shadow might as well lazy around on a throne all day until he gets fat from me hand-feeding him grapes, while I fan him. Let’s see what that would look like…

I heard the ring of a bell. I rushed into the throne-room and stood in front of my master.

“Yes, my Lord?” I asked. The big fat black rabbit didn’t even look at me.

“I’m hungry,” he said flatly. I stood there for a minute. He looked at me and his expression darkened.

“Well? What are you standing around for? BRING ME MY PELLETS!” he exploded. I nodded vigorously and rushed off to get the master his food.

When I returned he glared at me and took one bit of his food before spitting it out.

“Is this organic?!” he bellowed in shock.

“Your vet says that you must eat healthier, my Lord-” I answered as I ducked when he threw his bowl to the floor.

“BRING ME MY TREATS! NOW!” he yelled. I rushed off again to bring him his strawberry yogurt treats.

He ate one treat and then looked at me.

“What are you doing? Fetch my water bowl, and pet my back.”

I sighed as I rushed off once again. I brought back a water bowl and set it gently on his lap. He reached down to slurp the water when the bowl tipped over and soaked him. He gasped as the cold water drenched him.

“YOU DID THIS!!!” he roared at me.

“Sir- Please, have s-some s-sense. I couldn’t have-” I yelped as he scratched me.

“Bring me a towel! And clean out my litter! NOW, SERVANT!” he screamed.

I sighed.

“I need to retire.”

Now, that was just a joke. I love Shadow to death. But poor servant. That servant in the story sounded like her rabbit was treating her very unfairly.

Anyways, comment down below if you are a “bunny slave” like me and check out my previous posts! I need some help with “Letters To Random” ideas!
